CPM integrity
Open ends, excessive lag, missing logic and hard constraints are cleaned before the reviewer finds them.
UNITED STATES
United States planning and scheduling for owners and contractors who need a CPM schedule that will survive review. We are a Manchester consultancy supporting US programmes.
United States
American owners and construction managers often specify how the CPM schedule is built: activity codes, calendars, constraints, narrative and the rules for an update. A file that looks fine in a meeting and fails that review is not a baseline.
EVM Solutions prepares and reviews those schedules from our Manchester base, working in Primavera P6 with the US project team. We check logic, lags, constraints and the critical path before the schedule is submitted. Where the contract asks for a time impact analysis, we model the change in the network rather than in a side spreadsheet.
The state pages cover markets we are asked about most often. They are not a claim of a US office. Weather, labour calendars and the local mix of data centres, infrastructure and commercial work are what change from state to state.
On the programme
Open ends, excessive lag, missing logic and hard constraints are cleaned before the reviewer finds them.
The written account matches the file: critical path, calendar basis, and what changed since the last period.
State holidays, weather seasons and shift patterns are explicit. A national default calendar is not good enough.
How we help
Planning, scheduling and project controls from a Manchester-based consultancy, deployed to the programme rather than tied to a local office in every city.
Schedules built to the CPM specification on that contract, with codes the owner already uses.
Progress and remaining duration recorded so float movement can be explained.
Fragnets tied into the approved schedule when a delay or change is being assessed.
States
Each state page describes the programmes and the calendar issues we plan for there.
High-rise, infrastructure and occupied buildings, where logistics and calendars decide the float.
Read the pageData centres, industrial plants and energy projects on a heat calendar, often across more than one site.
Read the pageTech campuses, life sciences and infrastructure, with entitlements and phased occupancy on the critical path.
Read the pageCommercial, infrastructure and waterfront work, with hurricane season treated as a calendar fact.
Read the pageChicago commercial work, Midwest industry and infrastructure, planned on a winter calendar.
Read the pageSeattle-region tech, industrial and infrastructure programmes, planned around a wet-weather calendar.

No. EVM Solutions is based in Manchester, United Kingdom. We support US programmes with the project team, in the scheduling software the contract requires.
New York, Texas, California, Florida, Illinois and Washington. Other states are covered by this national page and can be scoped the same way.
Where the specification calls for a 14-point assessment or an AACE recommended practice, we review against that standard. We do not apply a test the contract has not asked for and then treat it as a rejection.
Yes. P6 is the usual tool for the integrated CPM schedule. Project is used where the contract or the package manager requires it.
